- Miami is spread out; combine neighborhoods by area and use rideshare or Metrorail/Metromover for downtown and Brickell.
- South Beach is walkable, but crossing between Miami Beach, Wynwood, Little Havana, and Coconut Grove usually needs a car or rideshare.
- Afternoon thunderstorms are common in summer, so schedule beaches and Everglades outings early.
- Parking can be expensive near beaches and nightlife districts; confirm garage rates before leaving the car.
