Short answers, including the things Itnify does not do. If something here is not covered, the pricing page lists every difference between the plans line by line.

Is it free?

The first five trips are free and no card is needed. Reading a finished plan is free with no account at all. Beyond five trips there is a $5 a month plan, and a one-off $22 trip check where a person goes through your itinerary by hand.

Do I need an account?

Only to generate a trip. The plan library and any trip someone has shared with you are readable without signing in.

Which destinations does it cover?

111 US cities, 63 national parks and all 50 states are vetted, which means each one carries a curated set of real places with stored coordinates, opening hours, price levels and drive times measured on real roads. Anywhere else is discovered at the time you ask, which works but has not had the same checking.

How is this different from asking a chatbot for an itinerary?

The structure is not written by a language model. Which places go on which day, in what order, and how long the travel between them takes is computed from stored data, so the same request produces the same trip. The model only writes the prose around it. That is why a stop here is a place that currently exists and is open, rather than a plausible-sounding name.

Are the drive times real?

For vetted cities and states, yes: they come from a road-routing matrix baked per destination, not from a straight line between two points. Where a leg has no cached route the estimate falls back to distance, and the trip says how it is travelling rather than inventing a transit line.

What does "checked by a person" actually mean?

It is a one-off $22 purchase for one itinerary. Someone goes through the trip before you travel and sends back a written list of what they changed and why, with sources. It is not a subscription and it does not renew.

Can I change a plan after it generates?

On the paid plan, yes: remove a stop, reorder a day, move something between days, or swap a stop for another vetted place nearby. On the free plan a trip is read-only once generated, so getting a different plan means generating again.

Can I share a trip with the people I am travelling with?

Yes. Every trip can mint a public link that anyone can open and read without an account. It is read-only for them.

Can I download a PDF or use it offline?

No, and that is deliberate rather than missing. Trips are shared as links so the page stays current if something on it changes.

Does Itnify book flights, hotels or tickets for me?

No. It builds the plan and tells you what needs booking ahead, with links to the official site or a ticket seller where one exists. You book everything yourself.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, on the trip check, and you do not need to argue for it: if the check cannot be completed before you leave, cannot be done properly for your destination, is cancelled before work starts, or was charged twice, it is refunded. The refunds page has the full policy.
